Mohawk Industries closes Q1 2026 with $2.7B in net sales (+8.0% YoY), driven by Global Ceramic segment (+10.4%) and adjusted EPS of $1.90.
Mohawk Industries (NYSE: MHK), the world's largest flooring manufacturer, released its Q1 2026 financial results, showing a solid rebound versus the prior-year period.
The company posted net sales of $2.7 billion, up 8.0% year-over-year. Net earnings reached $118 million, with adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.90.
The Global Ceramic segment was the standout performer, growing 10.4% in sales, supported by improving demand in key markets and the ongoing benefits of operational efficiency initiatives launched in the prior year. The Flooring North America and Flooring Rest of the World segments also contributed positively to consolidated results.
CEO Jeff Lorberbaum noted that despite a challenging macroeconomic backdrop and pressures stemming from the Middle East conflict — which affect logistics routes and energy costs — the company is maintaining its operational and investment discipline, prioritizing premium products and higher value-added categories.
Looking ahead to Q2 2026, Mohawk guided to adjusted EPS in the range of $2.50 to $2.60, expecting continued margin improvement as productivity programs scale and raw material costs stabilize.
The results reinforce the thesis of a gradual recovery for the global ceramic tile sector, with residential demand showing signs of reactivation and the commercial channel maintaining a healthy project pipeline.
